Campbellsville High School softball team hosted the Lady Eagle Classic on Saturday, March 19, and picked up two wins on the day.
CHS bested Henry County by a score of 6-4 and then Danville by a score of 18-4.
In the final game of the day, Cumberland County defeated the Lady Eagles by a score of 0-16.
The CHS softball team began its season on Tuesday, March 15, at Green County. The Lady Eagles lost by a score of 1-16.
CHS defeated Thomas Nelson on Thursday, March 17, by a score of 17-9.
CHS traveled to Central Hardin on Monday, March 21, and lost by a score of 0-13.
On Tuesday, March 22, CHS traveled to North Hardin and brought home a win, with a final score of 12-7.
Weston Jones is the head softball coach. Assistant coaches are Allison Lawless and Danielle Morris.
The team travels to Metcalfe County on Thursday, March 24.
The first official home game of the season will be on Friday, March 25, at 6 p.m. at Campbellsville Elementary School.
