Campbellsville middle and high school cross country teams finished well at the St. X Tiger Run at Louisville Champions Park on Saturday, Aug. 26.
For the CMS team, fifth-grader Karleigh Oliver finished 161st out of 322 runners, in 15:15.60. She was a top half finisher and placed 10th out of the fifth-graders competing.
Seventh-grader Serenity Ford finished in 288th place.
CMS boys’ runners also fared well.
Eighth-grader Arren Hash finished 39th out of 388 competitors, in 11:37.05. He finished in the Top 10 percent of runners and was 24th of the eighth-grade boys running.
Sixth-grader Chase Hord finished 143rd, in 12:53. He finished in the top third of runners and was 13th of the sixth-grade boys running.
Eighth-grader Jonathan Sparks finished in 233rd place, seventh-grader Seth Hash was 235th and eighth-grader Jake Dicken was 239th.
For the CHS team, senior Kyrsten Hill finished 94th out of 203 runners, for a top half finish. She completed the race in 24:42.82.
CHS freshmen Zoe McAninch and Gracyne Hash finished in 137th and 164th places, respectively.
And for the boys’ team, sophomores Ian and Evan McAninch finished in 216th and 272nd place, out of 302 runners.

The teams will compete again on Saturday, Sept. 3, in the Run for the Gold at Elizabethtown Sports Park.
