Campbellsville High School cross country team competed on Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Heartland Athletic Conference meet at Miller Park in Campbellsville.
Kyrsten Hill, a senior, was the top finisher for the CHS team and was named to the Heartland Conference All-Runner team.
In the elementary race, Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grader Abbie Oliver finished in sixth place with a season best personal record, 7:20.
In the middle school race, CMS fifth-grader Karleigh Oliver finished first, in 10:47, with a season best PR. Serenity Ford, a seventh-grader, finished in eighth place with a season best PR at 13:33.
Sixth-grader Chase Hord finished eighth, at 10:39.
Jake Dicken, an eighth-grader, finished in 10th place, at 11:03, which is a season best PR.
CMS seventh-grader Seth Hash finished 11th, in 11:09, which is a season best PR.
And Caleb Holt, a fifth-grader, finished in 15th place, at 11:52.
In the high school race, senior Kyrsten Hill finished in fifth place at 22:30, which is a season best PR.
Zoe McAninch, a freshman, finished in eighth place, at 23:01, which is a season best PR.
And Gracyne Hash, also a freshman, was 10th place, finishing at a season best PR time of 23:17.
In the boys’ race, CHS sophomore Evan McAninch led his team, finishing in 10th place, at 19:36, which is a season best PR.
Ian McAninch, also a sophomore, was 12th, finishing in 19:49, which is a season best PR.
And CMS eighth-grader Jonathan Sparks finished in 23rd place, in 21:40, which is a season best PR.
The team will compete next on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Miller Park walking track.
