Campbellsville High School junior Nena Barnett has been named to the 5th region all-season team.
The 5th Region Basketball Coaches Association recently made the announcement.
Barnett averaged more than 10 points per game in the 2016-2017 season, along with four rebounds and three assists.
She led the Lady Eagles to an 18-11 season, which is the team’s first winning season in more than 15 years.
Barnett missed the last eight games of the season because of a foot injury.
At the end of the 2016-2017 season, Barnett is 27 points shy of becoming a member of the school’s 1,000-point club.
Anthony Epps is the CHS girls’ head basketball coach.
