Campbellsville High School senior Kyrsten Hill will continue her academic and tennis career at Campbellsville University this fall.
She recently signed her letter of intent in a special ceremony with her family, friends, teammates and coaches.
“This is an exciting time for us, Kyrsten and her family,” CHS Principal Kirby Smith said.
“To get to this point and to see students be able to go on and further their education and participate in a sport is exciting. And we’re very excited for Kyrsten.
“You’re getting a great young lady. A great family.”
Hill said she thanks everyone for supporting her and helping her progress in the three years she has played tennis at CHS.
“I’m really glad I joined tennis. It’s really been a good sport for me, besides cross country.”
At CU, Hill will major in graphic design and journalism.
She said she has chosen to attend CU because she has been given many opportunities on campus.
“There were a lot of open doors and opportunities, and it just felt like God wanted me there,” she said.
Hill said the graphic design program at CU is great, and she also enjoys her time working as an intern at the Office of University Communications.
