Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · CHS defeats Fort Knox to advance in All ‘A’ region tournament


Campbellsville High School soccer team recently defeated Fort Knox to advance in the All “A” fifth region tournament.

CHS hosted Fort Knox on Wednesday, Aug. 30, for a first-round match up.

The team won the game by a score of 2-0.

CHS senior Cody Davis scored for the Eagles, with an assist from sophomore David Silva.

Daniel Johnson, a junior, also scored for his team, with an assist from senior Logan Cole.

Brennon Wheeler, a sophomore, recorded his third shutout of the season, blocking 20 shots at the goal.

Bradley Harris is the CHS head soccer coach.

CHS will take on Bardstown in the All “A” fifth region championship game on Wednesday, Sept. 6, in Bardstown at 5:30 p.m.

The team will host Hart County on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. at the Durham Track and Field Complex on the Campbellsville Elementary School campus.
