Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · CHS cross country team competes in Green County

Campbellsville High School cross country team competed in the Green County Cow Days Cross Country Invite on Thursday, Sept. 14, and brought home several honors.

In the middle school race, Campbellsville Middle School seventh-grader Chase Hord finished in fifth place overall, in 10:50, which is a new personal record.

Caleb Holt, a sixth-grader, finished in 41st place, in 13:14, which is also a new personal record.

Eighth-grader Serenity Ford finished the girls’ race in 16th place, in 14:17, which is a new personal record.

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grader Baylee Pike finished 20th overall, in 14:52.
And seventh-grader MaCayla Falls finished 272nd overall, in 16 minutes, which is a new personal record.

In the high school race, CHS junior Ian McAninch finished 44th overall, in 20:57.

Evan McAninch, also a junior, finished 81st, in 23:13.

CHS freshman Jonathan Sparks was 82nd, finishing in 23:14.

And freshman Jake Dicken finished 97th overall, in 25:28.

Steve Doss is the CHS cross country coach.

The team will compete again on Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Miller Park walking track at the Taylor County All Comers Meet.
