Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · CHS cross country team wins


Campbellsville High School cross country team recently competed in the Taylor County All Comers meet and brought home several awards.

In the CHS boys’ varsity race, junior Ian McAninch finished in third place, in 21:39.

CHS freshman Jonathan Sparks finished in sixth place, at 23:17.

Jake Dicken, a freshman, finished in seventh place, at 23:45.

In the girls’ varsity race, CHS sophomore Gracyne Hash finished in sixth place, at 26:56.

In the middle school boys’ race, seventh-grader Chase Hord finished in sixth place, at 10:10, which is a new personal record.

Caleb Holt, a sixth-grader, finished in 20th place in 12:34, which is a new personal record.

CMS eighth-grader Nate Arachi finished in 23rd place, in 13:38, which is a new personal record.

And in the middle school girls’ race, eighth-grader Serenity Ford finished in sixth place, in 13:04, which is a new personal record.

Baylee Pike, a Campbellsville Elementary School third-grader, finished in seventh place, in 13:38, which is a new personal record.

And seventh-grader MaCayla Falls finished in 12th place, in 15:09, which is a new personal record.

CHS cross country team will compete in the Heartland Conference meet on Thursday, Oct. 12, in Green County.
