Boys Junior Varsity Basketball, Boys Varsity Basketball · CHS boys’ junior varsity, varsity basketball teams take on LaRue County

Campbellsville High School boys’ junior varsity and varsity basketball teams recently took on LaRue County.

In the junior varsity game, CHS lost a very close match up.

Final score was 49-52.

In the varsity game, CHS battled until the end, but couldn’t hold on to the lead.

Final score was 66-76.

CHS junior Taj Sanders led his team with 17 points.

Malachi Corley, a sophomore, added 13.

Tim Davis is in his 23rd year as CHS boys’ basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Cody Wills, Will Griffin, Chris “Scoop” Smith and Chris “Peewee” Smith.

The junior varsity team will travel to Clinton County on Monday, Jan. 22.

The varsity team will host Marion County on Friday, Jan. 12, for a girls’ and boys’ doubleheader. Games begin at 6 p.m. with the girls’ match up.
