Boys Varsity Tennis, Girls Varsity Tennis · CHS tennis teams defeat Washington County, North Hardin


Campbellsville High School tennis teams recently defeated Washington County and North Hardin high schools.

The boys’ team defeated Washington County on Monday, April 9, by a score of 3-2.

CHS senior Jackson Hunt won his singles match by scores of 6-0 and 6-0.

Patrick Walker, a sophomore, also won his singles match. Score was 8-6.

CHS seniors and doubles partners Cass Kidwell and Cody Davis won their match by scores of 6-0 and 6-0.

The boys’ team also defeated North Hardin on Tuesday, April 10, by a score of 3-2.

Hunt won his match, by scores of 4-6, 6-0 and 13-11.

Walker also picked up a win. Scores were 5-7, 6-4 and 10-5.

And Kidwell and Davis picked up another win, by a score of 6-2 and 6-0.

For the girls’ team, sophomore Victoria Cox won against Washington County. Score was 6-0 and 6-0.

Samantha Johnson, a junior, and senior Sara Farmer won their singles matches by score of 8-0.

Against North Hardin, Cox and Johnson won their doubles match by a score of 8-2.

CHS will play in the Heartland Conference tournament on Monday, April 16, and Tuesday, April 17, at Miller Park.
