Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · CHS cross country team competes in Green County


Campbellsville High School cross country team recently competed in the Green County Cow Days Festival race.

In the girls’ elementary school race, Campbellsville Elementary School fourth-grader Baylee Pike finished in 12:47. Third-grader Izzy Brunelle finished the race in 14:18.

In the boys’ elementary race, fourth-grader Tye Rhodes finished the race in 14:32.

Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Chase Hord finished the middle school race in 11:08, which earned him ninth place overall.

Rowan Petett, a sixth-grader, finished in 13:10, which is a new personal record for the distance.

In the girls’ varsity race, Campbellsville High School freshman Serenity Ford finished in 30:33.

And in the boys’ varsity race, CHS senior Ian McAninch finished in 20:56, which earned him 14th place overall.

Jonathan Sparks, a sophomore, finished in 26:53, and his classmate Jake Dicken finished in 28:52.

The team will compete in the Jack Mitchell Invite in LaRue County on Thursday, Sept. 27.
