Boys Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · CHS girls,’ boys’ basketball teams battle Adair County

Campbellsville High School girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams recently took on Adair County.

In the girls’ game, CHS won by a score of 39-37.

Katelyn Miller, a junior, led her team with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Bre Gowdy, a freshman, added nine points and four rebounds.

Anthony Epps is the girls’ basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Tiarra Cecil and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.

In the boys’ game vs. Adair County, the CHS team lost by a score of 60-62.

Taj Sanders, a senior, led with 19 points and five rebounds.

Malachi Corley, a junior, had 16 points and eight rebounds.

Tim Davis is in his 24th year as CHS boys’ basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Cody Wills, Will Griffin, Chris “Scoop” Smith, Chris “Peewee” Smith and Jordan Ballard.

The CHS girls’ and boys’ varsity teams will take on Taylor County on Friday, Jan. 4, starting at 6 p.m. at the TCHS campus.
