Boys Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · CHS swim relay team finishes fifth at region


Campbellsville High School swim team competed in Kentucky High School Athletic Association region competition recently, and a relay team brought home fifth place.

In the boys’ 200-yard medley relay, the CHS team was fifth at 2:10.59.

The team is made up of seniors Brandon Greer and Joe Pipes, junior Gavin Johnson and Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Seth Hash.

In the girls’ 200-yard medley relay, the CHS team was 12th.

The team is made up of senior Natalie Caldwell and juniors Gracyne Hash, Aleah Knifley and Isabella Osborne.

In the girls’ 200-yard individual medley, Hash finished 13th.

In the boys’ 50-yard freestyle, Pipes was 14th.

The CHS team finished 12th in the girls’ 200-yard freestyle relay.

The boys’ team finished the 200-yard freestyle relay in ninth place.

Hash was 16th in the 100-yard backstroke.

Johnson finished 10th in the boys’ 100-yard breaststroke.

Overall, the CHS boys’ team finished 12th, and the girls’ team was 14th.

In combined scores, the CHS team finished in 13th place.
