Campbellsville High School fishing team recently hosted its first “shop and swap” event.
Those attending brought their used fishing equipment to sell and trade with other anglers.
Local vendors were also set up to sell new equipment.
Admission proceeds went to the fishing team to help purchase supplies for the upcoming season.
Vendors included Crazy Horse Archery and Patterson’s Bait and Grocery.
Sponsors of the event included Crazy Horse Archery, Farm Bureau, Hord’s Landscaping, Jeff’s Food Mart, Longhunter Outfitters, Mitchell’s, Patterson’s Bait and Grocery, Performance Marine, Taylor County Tire and Todd Nolley Auto Sales and 35 Line.
Richard Dicken is the CHS fishing coach.
The season is set to begin soon.
