Boys Varsity Bowling · CHS bowler advances to semifinals in region competition

Campbellsville High School boys’ bowling team recently participated in region competition to end its season.

In the team portion of the competition, the CHS squad defeated Green County in the first round.

CHS lost a close match to Taylor County in the second round. Final score was 2-3.

In the singles competition, Patrick Walker bowled a 966 and advanced to the semifinals.

He finished the competition in sixth place, and was named to the region all-star team.

At the all-stars competition on Saturday, Feb. 16, Walker and his teammates won the Region 2 tournament.

In Region 2, the CHS team competes against Bardstown, Central Hardin, Elizabethtown, Green County, John Hardin, Meade County, Nelson County, North Hardin, Russell County, Taylor County and Thomas Nelson.

Stephen Tucker is the bowling head coach.
