Campbellsville High School track teams recently competed at Lindsey Wilson College.
Overall, the boys’ team finished in 11th place, and the girls’ team was 13th.
In the girls’ 800-meter run, senior Christa Riggs was 15th and junior Zoe McAninch was 18th.
McAninch finished the girls’ 2,000-meter steeplechase race in in fifth place.
In shot put and discus throw, senior Natalie Caldwell was third.
In the boys’ 100-meter dash, senior Daesean Van Cleave was sixth and classmate Davon Cecil was 12th.
CHS senior Joe Pipes finished the 400-meter dash in sixth place.
Pipes finished the 200-meter race in eighth.
In the 800-meter run, CHS senior Ian McAninch was ninth.
He finished fourth in the 3,200-meter run.
In the boys’ 2,000-meter steeplechase, senior Evan McAninch finished sixth.
In the 4×200 relay, the CHS team finished second. The team is made up of Van Cleave, Pipes, senior Charlie Pettigrew and sophomore Reggie Thomas.
Thomas finished the long jump in seventh place, and Evan McAninch was 14th.
Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Levi Dicken was 17th in shot put. Taekwon McCoy, a junior, was 19th.
Dicken was 13th in discus throw and McCoy finished 19th.
Katie Wilkerson and Steve Doss are the CHS track coaches.
