Campbellsville High School track teams recently competed in the Class A region meet.
Overall, the boys’ team finished ninth and the girls’ team was 10th.
In the girls’ 100-meter dash, Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Antaya Epps finished eighth. CHS junior Jasmine Coro was 25th.
In the 200, Epps finished seventh and eighth-grader Whitney Frashure was 24th.
CHS senior Christa Riggs was 12th in the 800-meter run. Zoe McAninch, a junior, finished 17th.
In the girls’ 4×100 race, the CHS team was 12th. Runners were Coro, Epps, Frashure and eighth-grader Alysa Howard.
In the 4×200, the team finished 10th.
The 4×400 team finished ninth. Runners were Howard, McAninch, Riggs and eighth-grader Amelia Christie.
McAninch finished 16th in the long jump.
In shot put, CHS senior Natalie Caldwell was fourth. Brisko was 14th.
In discus throw, Caldwell was second and junior Haley Morris finished 13th.
In the boys’ 100-meter dash, CHS senior Davon Cecil was 10th and classmate Tristan Johnson was 14th.
In the 200, CHS senior Joe Pipes was ninth.
Jeffrey Sustaita, a CHS sophomore, was 17th in the 400-meter dash.
Ian McAninch, a senior, finished the 3,200-meter run in seventh place.
In the boys’ 4×100 race, the CHS team finished third. Runners were seniors Charlie Pettigrew, Evan McAninch, Daesean Van Cleave and Joe Pipes.
The 4×200 team finished in third place. Runners were Pettigrew, Van Cleave, Cecil and Pipes.
In the 4×400, the CHS team was fourth. Runners were Pipes, Evan McAninch and juniors Malachi Corley and Mark Rigsby.
Evan McAninch finished the high jump in 11th place.
Sustaita was 22nd in the long jump.
Rigsby finished the triple jump in 12th place.
In shot put, Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Levi Dicken was 21st and seventh-grader Dalton Morris was 24th.
In discus, Dicken was 14th and freshman Ryan Milburn finished 25th.
