Campbellsville High School baseball team recently defeated Taylor County.
Final score was 8-7.
The Eagles rallied to score three runs in the top of the seventh inning to get the win.
The team started the inning with sophomore John Orberson reaching base on a walk.
Arren Hash, a sophomore, hit a single and senior Ryan Kearney walked.
Treyce Mattingly, a senior, hit a RBI ground ball, followed by a single by junior Noah Hughes.
Tristin Faulkner, a sophomore, then singled on an error to score Kearney.
Hughes picked up the win on the pitching mound, in relief for Orberson.
Hughes and Orberson each struck out four.
The offense for the Eagles included two hits from Hash, Hughes and Faulkner.
Faulkner hit a three-run home run.
Kearney and junior Brennon Wheeler each added a hit.
