Campbellsville High School baseball team recently lost a close game to Central Hardin.

The CHS squad battled to extra innings, but couldn’t get the win.

Final score was 6-5.

CHS senior Brody Weeks was the starting pitcher.

John Orberson, a sophomore, pitched in relief and struck out eight batters.

CHS junior Blake Allen took the loss on the mound.

Dillon Whitaker and Noah Hughes, juniors, each had two hits.

Hughes hit a double and three-run home run.

Orberson and senior Ryan Kearney also had hits for the Eagles.

Blake Milby is the head baseball coach.

Zach Lewis, Lynn Kearney, Sarge Pollock and Caleb Gupton are assistants.
