Boys Varsity Soccer · CHS senior soccer player honored

Campbellsville High School senior soccer player Brennon Wheeler was honored recently for his dedication to his team.

Wheeler was recognized before the team’s game vs. Monroe County on Monday, Sept. 30.

He was honored for being the goalkeeper recording the most saves in CHS history, and for scoring on a penalty kick to defeat Bethlehem earlier this month to win the fifth region All “A” tournament championship.

Wheeler was thanked for his leadership to his teammates and CHS.

Bradley Harris is the CHS soccer coach.

Assistant coaches are Malique Spaulding, Owen Weeks and Dom Allen.

The team will host Russell County on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. at the Campbellsville Elementary School campus.
