Girls Varsity Volleyball · CHS volleyball players honored


Campbellsville High School volleyball players were recently honored for their hard work and dedication this past season.

Players gathered with their families and coaches for a banquet to celebrate the season.

Several awards were presented.

Kaylyn Smith, a sophomore, received the Most Kills and Most Blocks awards.

She recorded 173 kills and 50 blocks this season.

CHS sophomore Lainey Watson received the Most Assists award, with 403 this season.

Sarah Adkins, a sophomore, received the Most Digs award. She had 286 this season.

CHS junior Zoie Sidebottom received the Most Aces award, with 45 on the season.

For the freshman team, Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Chloe Thompson received the Coaches Award.

For the junior varsity team, sophomore Tayler Thompson and junior Laci Hodgens received the Coaches Award.

And for the varsity team, sophomore Lainey Watson received the Coaches Award.

Bri Gowdy, a sophomore, received the Most Improved award.

And CHS senior Shelby Smith received the Ultimate Teammate Award.

Anthony Epps just completed his first season as CHS volleyball head coach.
