Eagles News · CHS athletic department creates Hall of Fame

Campbellsville High School athletic department has created an Athletic Hall of Fame.

CHS Athletic Hall of Fame will recognize, preserve and promote the rich heritage of athletics at Campbellsville High School and the former Durham High School.

Many CHS and Durham High School students have made extraordinary contributions and received countless accolades in high school sports.

The Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these outstanding individuals.

The initial class of inductees will be announced in September and the Hall of Fame banquet will take place in December.

Inductees can be a former athlete, coach, contributor or team.

The initial class will have 15 inductees, with the second year inducting 10 and each year thereafter adding six.

Inductees will be chosen from nominations submitted to the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors will be made up of nine voting members and four school officials.

Nomination forms will be available on the CHS athletics website at www.cville.athletics.com.

Forms are also available at CHS Athletic Director Tim Davis’s office at the CHS campus.

Nomination forms will be accepted until July 1.
