Campbellsville High School softball team recently took on Taylor County. The junior varsity squad picked up a win. Final score was 3-1. In the varsity match up, the CHS team fought hard but couldn’t get the win. Final score was 0-3. Zach Durham is the head softball coach. Matthew Schmuck is assistant.

Campbellsville High School track teams recently competed in the Heartland Athletic Conference meet. Overall, the girls’ and boys’ teams finished in fourth place. Campbellsville High School track teams competed in the KHSAA state meet on Thursday, May 30, at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. CHS senior Natalie Caldwell advanced to state competition in shot put and discus throw after her performance at this year’s region meet. At state, Caldwell was 10th in discus and 22nd in shot.

This year’s seniors include Natalie Caldwell, Davon Cecil, Tristan Johnson, Glenn Lamer, Evan McAninch, Ian McAninch, Charlie Pettigrew, Joe Pipes, Christa Riggs and Daesean Van Cleave.
