CHS soccer team hosts pancake breakfast

Campbellsville High School soccer team hosted a pancake breakfast recently as a fundraiser. The breakfast was at Wings Pizza N Things, and players were waiters for the event. On the menu was pancakes, bacon, coffee and orange juice. About $600 was raised at the breakfast, which will be used to pay team expenses. Bradley Harris

Campbellsville High School football team battled Beechwood recently to end its season. Campbellsville High School soccer team recently took on Marion County. CHS hosted the team in the first round of the 18th District tournament. The CHS squad fought hard, but couldn’t get the win. Final score was 1-4. CHS senior Daniel Johnson scored the goal for the Eagles. Brody Weeks, also a senior, had an assist.

CHS volleyball teams defeat North Hardin

Campbellsville High School volleyball teams recently defeated North Hardin. Freshmen players won by a score of 2-0. The junior varsity squad won by a score of 2-1. The varsity team fought hard, but couldn’t get the win. Set scores were 22-25 and 16-25. Shajuana Ditto is the CHS volleyball coach.

CHS cross country team competes

Campbellsville High School cross country team recently competed at Miller Park. In the elementary girls’ 1700 meter run, Campbellsville Elementary School fourth-grader Baylee Pike was eighth. CHS football team to take on Beechwood

Campbellsville High School football team will take on Beechwood High School on Friday, Nov. 23, in the KHSAA Class A semi-state playoffs. The Eagles will travel to Beechwood High School in Ft. Mitchell, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Coaches and administrator cards will not be accepted.

CHS athletic department hosts ‘12 Days of Christmas’ raffle

Campbellsville High School Athletic Department has begun its annual “12 Days of Christmas” raffle to raise money for its athletic programs. This year, the prizes are all cash awards. Tickets are $30 each, and will include two Pick 3 numbers, so each ticket comes with two chances each day to win the day’s cash prize.
