CHS juniors receive basketball honors

Campbellsville High School juniors Caylie Blair and Elena De Pedro have received honors for their performance during the 2015-2016 basketball season. Blair was named to the 20th district academic team. De Pedro was named to the all-season and all-tournament teams. CHS boys’ varsity basketball team takes on Taylor County

Campbellsville High School boys’ basketball team took on Taylor County on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the first round of the 20th district tournament. Despite battling the Taylor County offense, CHS lost by a score of 47-86. Tim Davis is the boys’ head basketball coach. Assistant coaches are Ben Davis, Anthony Epps and Will Griffin.  

Harris to Sign with CU

Senior Brooklyn Harris will sign her letter of intent to Campbellsville University to play tennis Monday, February 29th. The signing ceremony will take place in the CHS Media Lab starting at 5:30. All friends, classmates and family are invited to attend. Brooklyn is one of the top returning players in the 5th region this year.

CHS girls’ varsity basketball team battles Adair County

Campbellsville High School girls’ varsity basketball team battled Adair County on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the first round of the 20th district tournament. CHS baseball team hosts lasagna dinner

Campbellsville High School baseball team hosted its annual lead-off lasagna dinner and auction on Saturday, Feb. 20. About 400 people attended and nearly $8,000 was raised during the auction and from ticket sales. Those attending were served salad, lasagna or spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert and a drink. Campbellsville High School baseball team will host the Eagle Classic Youth Basketball Tournament this weekend to raise money for its upcoming season.
